A portable High Intensity Illuminator with densities up to 3.5 at the 14" x 17" viewing area. A optional high density spot attachment is available to increase densities up to 5.0 at the spot. A variable intensity brightness control adjusts the intensity of light transmitted to the x-ray film as needed, and a convenient foot switch turns the bulbs on as needed to conserve bulb life. Bulbs may be on continuously if necessary by means of a second switch.
